Holidays at Springtime

Today we begin two glorious weeks

of school holidays

and we get to really enjoy

our amazing spring beauty.The blossoms amd butterflies

that greet us on those

perfectly still mornings

The exquisite first flushes of roses

To linger with a long lie in
in our beautiful sanctuaries

To share the warmth that comes

from spending time with friends

And the gentle heat

of a spring time day out on a perfect picnic

Or perhaps finishing those projects

we've been wanting to do

But one cant miss out on those

therapeutic shopping trips

With all those romantic clothes filling our stores

Just magic

And definitely time for indulging in a new book.
