Isn't It Gorgeous?

That's what I thought
when I saw this
divine shrug or bolero jacketAnd then thought
"Could I make it?"
I don't think I could come close
to getting it this gorgeous

So I think some simpler projects
might be better

I just love
fabric flowers
Aren't they so gorgeous on these beads?

So tiny
but sweet
on these pins

I've been wanting
to make butterflies for ages

Especially with script on them

Or on hearts

Just to hang?

And enjoy

Perhaps these for my son's bedroom

I dont think
he'll let me
But I will definitely do this one day
A magnetic,
pressed metal
memo board
With bling magnets

I could get really brave
and add these bows to some shoes

Or add more bling

Maybe I'll just add it
to my own blue bottles
But I've got to stop
doing all this dreaming
and start doing!!

Images- Ive lost the name of where I got the shrug images and Id love to reference them properly so if you know please tell me so I can make it right. Other images are also unknown unless marked or the final image which is from Ciao Bella.

Spring Party

Lets celebrate this glorious weather
and the magic of spring
with a spring time party

We'll dress up
in some of the latest spring fashions
and dine outside

So remember to bring your hats

And fancy shoes??
(Maybe not?)

We'll have cocktails
and iced fruit drinks

A healthy and yummy chopped salad
( Ciao Bella 50)

Cupcakes in tea cups

Or cake dusted in rose petals

There will be our favourite bright pinks

And my new favourite,

Peachy Pink!

Hope you can come!

Holidays at Springtime

Today we begin two glorious weeks
of school holidays
and we get to really enjoy
our amazing spring beauty. The blossoms amd butterflies
that greet us on those
perfectly still mornings

The exquisite first flushes of roses

To linger with a long lie in
in our beautiful sanctuaries

To share the warmth that comes
from spending time with friends

And the gentle heat
of a spring time day out on a perfect picnic

Or perhaps finishing those projects
we've been wanting to do
But one cant miss out on those
therapeutic shopping trips

With all those romantic clothes filling our stores

Just magic
And definitely time for indulging in a new book.

It's Pink, It's Pretty and It's Perfect!

That's what I thought
when I found
this absolutely beautiful blog!I just became so at peace
and happy
to be in this world
I floated off in the dreaminess
and pure joy
I was feeling

I knew I'd found a blog
I'd follow forever

My favourite designer Caroline Quartermaine
was showcased beautifully

With just more and more images
that celebrate life

And she is obviously soo talented,
even with her cupcakes

And then one of my favourite things,
hearts and english china

(I so want this!)

She introduced me to the fun of Marie Antoinette

And all the gorgeousness that goes with it

And of course to herself

The beautiful Frances,
MA the2nd

And more recently to her new website

As for her home.....

I think it's exquisite

Pure magic

The stuff that dreams are made of

Can you blame me for going off to dreamland?

Everything so perfect

Love these shutters

So elegant

Even has some whimsy

A very lucky daughter

I love the attention to detail
(Bobble trim on the curtains)
My magical blue

But the magic never ends!

The kitchen of my dreams

French furniture

Even a workspace you'd never want to leave

Except maybe to enjoy this poolhouse

Who needs resorts if you've got this!

This is my kind of resort
I looovvveee these cushions
Wish I was there!

but more than her glorious blog and home
the lovely friendship
and encouragement
she has given me
So I offer her these flowers
as a token of my gratitude
for the joy she gives me in so many ways

And these balloons
as a tribute
to the kindred spirits and soul mates
we have the pleasure of meeting through blogs

And finally this award to Frances
for her truly beautiful blog

That I can only describe as elegance
and luxury
with a warm, loving heart.
Many thanks Frances
for sharing your beautiful blog with us.
