Upstairs on the Net

Part 2!

We arrive in the upstairs lounge. So many elements I love in this room.

Through double doors to our main bedroom.

New silk curtains! Wish they could come with me.

Up the hall to my daughters room.

Into her semi- ensuite

And up one final flight of stairs to an attic bedroom

For number 2 son.

(Not normally this neat)

A huge room!

Hope you enjoyed a tour of my home.

Have a great day!

My Home on the Internet

Last week we had a photo shoot because we are putting our house on the market. And so these are the results for the bottom floor

It was a grey day with rain and a dreary sky

But Im so pleased with the results

I have even started to question if Im doing the right thing to sell.

It will be so hard to leave

But we have new dreams to follow

Our home theatre room

Our study

Next post I'll do the next two floors. Hope you enjoyed visiting!

To Coronet or Not?

Don't you just lust for these dreamy

coronets?

This one above from French and Country has been a favourite of mine for a long time.

Everything in it is exquisite!
(Swedishinteriordesign)

(French Madamemoiselle)
In gold

(French Blue)

Or white

Perhaps in silk with tiebacks on the wall

Or lined in toille with matching cushions

(Urbanfarmhouse)

Simple sheers

(Papermulberry)

Taupes and ties for the more French Country look

(Urbanfarmhouse)

Checks?

(Papermulberry)

Over a daybed

Imagine it in an alfresco on a spring or summer afternoon

perhaps with just mosquito netting to keep away the unwanted

(Biskopgarden)

How romantic that would be!

Louis XIV Style Beds

Glamour, style, sophistication, French!

If you love Louis beds like me,
Then open this door for more magic

I would love this door for my boudoir
(Source Scrapbook)

( A life's design)
Some come upholstered
Emphasizing carving down the sides

Or in bright colours like this designer guild fabric

Gilded edges

Or left in white

(Shabby Chic)
Lots of fluffy white pillows

( home decor)
Maybe using tapestry

Or mixing textures with champagne gold
To let the bed speak

A grand "French Chateau"

What about you?
Do you love Louis beds too?
