High Tea in Blue!

In keeping with my passion for china
I do love to host a High Tea

This one was last May for Mothers Day!

Each guest received a wrapped soap
to take home

But they were part of the table centre
during the afternoon

Together with tulle and flowers

These strawberry tarts were so tasty

Next time I'll include
these yummy hazelnut chocolate cupcakes
I made for another tea

Pink champagne and pearls to decorate
And these sweet cupcakes to match
the blue theme

Especially as they remind me of "Tiffany's"

Cant wait to do it again!

Sideboard Vignette

After Xmas when I redid my displays
I still wanted to enjoy the white roses,
twigs and fairy lights

Together with my green and whites

A touch of rustic

And of course shells.

I got this shell idea from Coty Farquar
who is such an amazing stylist
and photographer.

I was quite happy with the overall effect

And in keeping with the colours
I love this print
Plus my daily reminder
that I am living in a dreamy house

And can't resist bird houses
even inside
I really enjoy slowing down
and taking time
to enjoy so many different parts to my home.
I hope you can too!

Inside my China Cabinet

I confess!
I have a passion for china
and I am always adding
to my collection of blue

Especially stripes and spots

With a dash of yellow

And Mrs chook at the bottom

All ready to use with these gorgeous placemats

Who's up for a cup of tea?

I Want to go to Bowral!

I so, so wish I could just get up
and go to Bowral.
It has to be one of the most beautiful places
on the planet!

Driving along the roads
are so many rolling fields and amazing trees
just like these from Hopewood.

I would looove to stay at Milton Park
and swim in this pool

But I'd have to stay at Hopewood Country House too

Both look just exquisite

And then shopping in the main street.
I hope"So French" is still there cos I love that shop.

And then I could visit the amazing Coty Farquar
Who I have been admiring so much
since I discovered blogland
Right now its just a dream
but I really, really want to go there.

Come visit. Its lots of fun!

Really Smelling the Roses!

Bonjour everyone!
I still have a passion for roses
and I really do enjoy
literally stopping to smell the roses
I picked these ones for this cute as vase
I got for my birthday
But not everyone likes it like me
this sweet little dog
My roses by the pool are really such a pleasure

And its amazing the gorgeous emerald green
plants take on when they are healthy

I have roses everywhere in the house

This is my new table centre for this week

Just love this arch from
the Voyager winery in Margeret River.
Just love that place

I wouldnt mind this by one of my doors

Or sitting at this table

But I can see I am heavily drawn to hedges and topiary

And rows of beautiful trees

Divine fountains

I still love anything french style in the garden.
This looks so inviting.
Perhaps I should go and enjoy my garden.
