Shoe Wall Art!

How cool is this? Couldnt go past it in the latest "The English Home" I bought last week. Such a clever idea. The article said that she liked to use ladders as works of art (and storage) and I love the idea
Then I found these metal shoes as wall art in a display home



And I thought "What about using really pretty shoes instead?"

What do you think?

    I LIKE! I think that is what I WILL DO with a pair of vintage shoes that I painted GOLD and embellished! I am running upstairs right now to see where I can put them!!!! HAVE A GRAND DAY! Anita

    I agree, a great use for a ladder...it looks good and is serving a function too! We have a store filled with ladders at the moment (or so it seems) so I love seeing other uses for these. With regards to the metal shoes, I think they are pretty but so are a lot of shoes we wear? I would probably go for the real deal myself! Tammy

    Pottery Barn has a "shoe ladder" they are about $129+ shipping. I bought one 2 months ago love it, it's in shabby sheik white, kind of narrow but you could buy 2, I hang boas, old purses, yes shoes, my old toe shoes, jewelry-it's so much fun and it fits into the corner of the room, you know how hard corners are to decorate.

    Sorry for the delay in response. I was wrapping up finals this week.
    In resonse to your questions ~ Yes.. however, you should be able to find it via continuing education if you prefer. I feel there are bonuses to taking the college course.

    I have a couple of The Web Collection Revealed books and like them. There are various books for each program. I have the InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator version and Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop.
