Formal Pools of Loveliness

With the lovely warm weather we are having one can't help but think about the luxury of pools.

My favourite is the simple lines from formal pools

And especially those with fountains
(I love this one!)



Ive drooled over this one for many a year


In France



Anyone for a barbecue?


This is ours still in its early stage but it has grown so much more.




How about this villa for rent in Dubai?


And I still love market umbrellas


Overall I love the simpicity of formal pools and formal gardens.

    I think we are hurtling towards swimming weather a little too fast for my liking Fiona. How about the weather today phew!!!!Adore the formal pools above, but will make do with my little old backyard 'swimming hole' for now! Keep cool!!

    Hi Fiona,in answer to your question - no I would definitely never get an invite to a front row seat at a LV show even though I did buy a handbag about 5 years ago! I just watch these things on you tube - it's not quite the same but it beats a 20 hour flight & finding something to wear!

    I would gladly jump into any of these pools...and I agree with you about liking the straight simple lines of the more formal ones best...I like them when they look like reflecting pools. All the best...
