This post was particularly interesting to me because I always thought Cape Dutch architecture was only found here in South Africa (after the Dutch settlers arrived). All the old homesteads on the wine farms around Cape Town are in this style. Have a good day. x Sharon

ReplyDeleteHi fiona, we had a lovely weekend there last year, without the kids too! Isnt the food in their restaurant just amazing? It really was to die for!!! I think it rained though... didnt get to enjoy the gardens unfortunately, we might just have to go back sometime soon!!
