Mother's Day High Tea

Im having a Mother's Day High tea with my friends and their daughters

on SaturdayThese are my beginning plans as I play,to decide how to decorate. White cloth

with sparkling white organza over the top

Roses of course

My inspiration came from this beautiful setting
From Cristina Re.
She does the most exquisite papers
displayed in her gorgeous shop which is also a tea house
where she hosts divine High Teas, classes and shopping.
One day I have to get there!
( I so badly want to go)
I hope mine can be just as pretty!

I might use some of her papers
to punch some butterflies to scatter on the table

(image from Cristina Re Facebook. I visit here almost daily)
I'll have to source some macaroons
I plan to have gifts
for both Mothers and Daughters

I've had many ideas
But I think bookmarks will be
the winner

Only Im going to use Cristina Re card
and add crystal or ribbon for the top
(maybe both)

You cant go wrong with her papers

(You can see them on her website)

I thought about making bath bombs as cupcakes

But I think I'll save it for another time.

I hope mine will look something like Cristina's!

I strongly suggest visiting Cristina. You will be so delighted!
( I have no affiliation other than loving her work)

Wish me luck!
Ill be sharing over at Beach Cottage"Good Life Wednesday"

and Romantic Home "Show and Tell Friday"

  2. Hi Fiona, definently going to check out her website, i have always loved her papers! If you get the time, macaroons arent too difficult to make! Just easier to buy them I think.. My sister in law knows of a place in (I think) Dalkeith or peppermint grove ; a little french bakery that sells them. Its a long way to go though unless you have a bit of spare time... If you like, let me know and i will get the address!
